Sea desalination

Water scarcity has become one of the most pressing global challenges of the 21st century. With rising population levels, climate change and overexploitation of freshwater resources, alternative sources of water are becoming increasingly necessary. In this context, seawater desalination offers a sustainable solution for producing clean drinking and industrial water from saline sources.

Technology: Reverse Osmosis

Reverse Osmosis (RO) is the most widely used method of seawater desalination globally. It works by passing saltwater through semi-permeable membranes with extremely small pores, effectively removing salts, heavy metals, and contaminants to produce high-quality water.

Key Features:

  • Salt rejection >99%

  • Low energy consumption using energy recovery devices

  • Fully automated operation

  • Easy integration into existing water supply networks

Applications

Our desalination units are suitable for:

  • Cities and islands facing freshwater shortages

  • Industrial plants requiring ultra-pure water

  • Tourist facilities in coastal areas

  • Agricultural irrigation in arid regions

  • Military or field operations in remote locations
